The Annunciation

Luke 1:26-38

The angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she is to be the Mother of God.

Eternally Chosen

From all eternity, Heaven awaited Mary. Before she drew her first breath, before Gabriel was sent, before any word was spoken — she was chosen. And when she did, Heaven rejoiced. The same God who chose Mary for her irreplaceable role has chosen you for yours. The Saints reminds us that holiness is not found in changing our state of life, but in being faithful within it. The world tempts us to compare, to imitate, to chase another path. But sanctity is never born from imitation — only from fidelity. So ask, quietly and honestly: Lord, who did You make me to be? What is my place in Your plan? And how do I say yes… like she did?
